Do you only organise trips to Peru?

No. We create personalised journeys to Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador and Brazil. We also offer partner services in Portugal and France.

Can I change a suggested itinerary?

Yes. The 8-, 14- and 21-day Peru journeys are examples, not fixed packages. Destinations, duration, pace and budget can be adapted to your preferences.

Is there a planning fee?

No. The initial consultation and preparation of your personalised proposal are free of charge.

What is included in my trip?

Your personalised proposal clearly lists the included accommodation, transport and experiences, along with any exclusions. Pricing depends on your individual choices and travel dates.

What support will I have during the trip?

You’ll have a designated contact for questions and assistance throughout your journey. We provide 24/7 support through WhatsApp and email, and actively monitor your flights and scheduled activities.

What if I need to cancel?

The initial 40% deposit is non-refundable. Refunds of additional payments depend on recoverable supplier amounts and applicable cancellation penalties. Please review the full conditions before booking.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION

Travel terms.

Please review these conditions before confirming your booking. Your itinerary and payment schedule are agreed before confirmation.

Payment schedule

Payment is divided into three instalments: 40% upon booking confirmation, 30% three months before departure, and the remaining 30% no later than 45 days before departure. The payment schedule is agreed with each traveller before booking. For shorter-notice bookings, an adjusted payment schedule will be agreed before confirmation.

Cancellation by the passenger

The initial 40% deposit is non-refundable. This amount covers supplier commitments and cancellation costs incurred by Mystic Voyage from the time the booking is confirmed.

If the passenger cancels the trip after additional payments have been made, any refund will depend on the amounts that Mystic Voyage is able to recover from its suppliers.

Certain services may be subject to additional cancellation fees or may be completely non-refundable. These may include, but are not limited to, flights, train tickets, entrance tickets, permits, hotels, tours, transportation, and other third-party services.

Any non-refundable costs or cancellation penalties charged by suppliers will be deducted from the amount eligible for refund.

Cancellations 45 days or less before departure

For cancellations made 45 days or less before the scheduled departure date, refunds are subject to the non-refundable costs and cancellation penalties already incurred by Mystic Voyage and its suppliers. Depending on the services booked, no refund may be available.

Unused or missed services

No refund will be issued for services voluntarily not used by the passenger, missed flights, transportation, excursions, or other services resulting from late arrival, failure to appear, or failure to follow the agreed schedule.

Supplier policies

Mystic Voyage works with independent third-party suppliers. Their individual cancellation and refund policies may vary. When applicable, refunds will be processed only after Mystic Voyage has confirmed the amounts recoverable from the relevant suppliers.

Exceptional circumstances

If a trip or service must be modified or cancelled due to circumstances beyond Mystic Voyage’s control, including weather conditions, strikes, roadblocks, political situations, decisions by local authorities, technical failures, or other force majeure events, Mystic Voyage will work with suppliers to seek the best available alternative or recoverable amount. Any refund will be subject to the amounts actually recoverable from the relevant suppliers.

Travel insurance

Mystic Voyage strongly recommends that all passengers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, accidents, delays, and other unforeseen circumstances.

General conditions

Schedules are referential and may vary depending on availability, weather conditions, traffic, or decisions made by local authorities.

The order of visits may be modified for operational reasons without affecting the quality of the service.

The agency is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, strikes, roadblocks, political situations, or technical failures.

The passenger is responsible for arriving on time at the designated pick-up points and for following the established itinerary guidelines.

Any cancellation must be made in advance according to the agency’s cancellation policy. No refunds will be issued for services not used voluntarily by the passenger.

The agency is not responsible for missed flights, transportation, excursions, or other services due to late arrival or failure to comply with schedules.

The agency is not responsible for services, delays, or incidents involving third-party providers (hotels, transport operators, restaurants, guides, etc.).

The agency is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during the trip.

The passenger confirms they are in adequate physical and mental condition to participate in the activities and assumes full responsibility for their participation.

We strongly recommend all passengers have valid travel insurance covering medical expenses, accidents, and trip interruptions. The agency is not responsible for medical costs or emergencies during the trip.

The passenger acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks involved in travel, outdoor activities, and cultural experiences.

The agency reserves the right to modify the program or activities at any time if required for safety, logistics, or operational reasons.
